Children are the only wellspring whose contributions can develop a country. They are the future of a country. However, every country is struggling to equip basic requirements so that they should live an effective life and contribute some contributions to the development of the country. Many countries have provided the basic needs of children and due to this, now they are the most prosperous countries in the world. But Pakistan is very behind in equipping the basic rights of children. Today the consequences for children are miserable. Today children face numerous problems concerning poverty, education, health, and child labor.
Every kind of expensive material comfort becomes useless if there is no healthy life. We can purchase every costly thing but can't buy a healthy life. Unfortunately, Pakistan is a country where people are confronting too many challenges in this regard. In Pakistan, a child's right to health is endangered from the youngest age. But today millions of children lose their lives because of poor health systems. Almost one child out of six dies before the age of five years. These deaths are ordinarily caused by malnutrition or the lack of access to clean water and supplies. Every day around 1,100 Pakistani children die from diarrhea and illnesses related to water, sanitation, and hygiene. Another factor provoking is the nutritional status of children in Pakistan. Around 30 percent of the children are underweight, more than 50 percent suffer from stunted growth, and around 9 percent from emaciation because of nutritional. To care for a child in rural areas is a challenge because there is no health care by which to save a life.
Children are the future architects of every country, but in our country, children are deprived of their essential needs, such as the lack of quality education is the biggest problem for every child lives in Pakistan. However, instead of getting a good education, they are involved in taking drugs. They are joining dangerous gangs due to a lack of knowledge. These traditions and activities are enough to take a country toward its downfall. Government must open more educational institutions for the safety of the children and the country. It is believed that education is the main source for everyone to emphasize themselves or explore themselves. To know what is false or right. Educating the children is educating the future of a county. But Pakistan is the world's second- number out of school children with 22.8 million children aged 5- 16 out of school. This amount proves how the condition of children is regarding education. When we talk about female education, in the country is more worsens. A large number of females can be found in schools in every province, especially Balochistan and Sindh where it stands higher than in other provinces. If today's youths are far from attaining education, it will put negative impacts on the country in the coming years. On the other hand, It is astonishing to hear that one teacher attends many classes even though teachers are ineffective and got selected by way of recommendations. It is noteworthy that countless teachers who exist in the list government and taking salaries, are not attending their classes and doing jobs aboard.
Child domestic labor has become a sensitive issue in the country where a huge number of children are at work even before their work age. A million children are struggling to work to fulfill their basic requirements and for getting two times food. It is the time of studying and making an effective life but they are working to meet their needs. However, our government is showing less interest in them. It is the responsibility of the government to give food, shelter, and other essentials of life to them to live an effective life and continue their studies for a candlelight life. It seems that our government is no more willing to give basic rights to children.
So, if the government does not has an interest to give basic rights then create an interest in giving rights to children and let them do something special for the development of the country and to light a light in their lives.
