Babar Azam, who was a player of Islamabad United before joining the Karachi Kings, will be playing for Peshawar Zalmi in the 8th season of PSL. Babar Azam was captain of Karachi Kings last season but this time owners picked Shoaib Malik and sent Babar to Peshawar's team. Quetta Gladiators tried to bring King Babar Azam into their team but they couldn't do the deal. At present Babar Azam is the only player who is in the platinum category for Zalmi.
On the other hand, Haider Ali is the only player Of Karachi Kings in the platinum category whereas Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, and Muhammad Amir are in the diamond category. Similarly, Sharjeel Khan, Mir Hamza, and Aamir Yamin are in the silver category.
However, Pakistan Super League ( PSL ) is going to start on 9 February and the final will be on 19 March of the 8th season.
