The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran book review by Ajaz Ahmed

The Prophet book by Kahlil Gibran

As we know that books are the quietest and the constant friends of every individual. I am going to review a prominent book whose title is ''The Prophet''. It is an inspiring book by Kahlil Gibran that was published in 1923. It is not only the first book of Kahlil Gibran but also his best book of him. It is translated into more than 100 languages so far. The book reveals a prophet who is returning to a city after many years and before reaching there citizens ask him a lot of questions and these questions become the chapters of this book. In this book, you will find 26 chapters that cover many aspects of our life.

A word which is containing 4 alphabets is "Love" and it is indeed such a word that is impossible to be defined as well. It is considered that it doesn't have any definition. But while that had been asked of Kahlil Gibran, he defined it in such a way that everyone got astonished. He says that the first condition of love is complete surrender.

The writer greatly says that if you want to follow and interrupt with that love, you have to live with all activities of your personal life which you have done before. Kahlil explains love very well which merges us with the oneness of this universe.

When Kahlil has been asked about marriage then he gives an example of a building. A building brick stands together but yet not too near together and he also gives another example even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music when among them two strings attach together music cannot be created. Kahlil says that but let the spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of heaven dance between you. Love one another but not make a bond of love.

Now let's get started with my favorite topic which is work. Here he gives an important point which is that you are loving that time when you are working. Following the patience and hard work on them and keeping yourself with work witness that you truly love your life. Loving your life during work is the best secret of life. Love your work then the work becomes easier to do if individuals don't then it means they don't love their life.

I have merely discussed about three topics but this book sold 26 chapters which are more fantastic among them I have liked three of them. At last, this book will be read two ways one is quickly, and the second is slowly this book seems the king of all books. After reading this book, everyone can make and build an enlightened future for their life because this book helps them to make their process of life better and bright.
