The Diary of a young is based on the real story of Jewish family members. This book is based on the diary of a girl who jotted down her two years journey at the time of World War two. It was first published in the Dutch language in 1947 but later it got published in the English Language because of this it got popular. Anne Frank, her Sister Margot Frank, her mother Edith Frank, and her father Otto Frank are personalities of this book. And another family was Mr. Van Dan with her wife and his son Peter and also another man joined them after 2 weeks named Albert Dassel. They all had been living somewhere where they were having two rooms only even though they were not allowed to use the washroom in the daytime. Because they were living in a factory, therefore they could not make any noise.
This book is completely based on the situation of Jewish families in Germany during World War two. Anne was 13 when her father gifted her a diary, and she was so pleased to have the diary as her birthday gift. Anne Frank was born on 12 June 1929, and she was a Jewish. Anne started writing her diary on 12 June 1942. She considered her diary as her best friend so she has given the name to it "Kitty". Moreover, she wrote her 1st line on dairy," I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as I have never been able to confide with anyone else and I hope it will be a great source of comfort and support.
Anne with her family spent 2 years together with Mr. Van's family. There was a girl named Anne frank, who was a very funny, open-minded person and she was very talkative. She used to joke and she always believed in positivity and supporting others. Every day she wrote in the dairy about her daily activities. She continued it for 2 years. Once Anne was listening to the radio and the speaker announced that all written diaries will be published and they will take all written pieces from world war 2 if somebody has. When Anne listened to this news so she became so happy and started writing her diary again by adding more information and important events which happened at that time. After that, her wish was to be a writer and she used to say her father. His father was Otto Frank. Anne mentioned many things and important events by listening to the radio.
Anne wrote in her diary that she was never loved by her mother Edith Frank and her sister Margot Frank but her father loved her so much and cared about her. Therefore she was very close to her father. She mentioned this in her diary which she saw on 8 November 1943. The Jewish were hidden in some places from 9 July 1942 to 4 August 1944. Germany occupied Holland. Therefore Anne with her family chose to hide. Anne also wrote many short stories in her diary and her diary name was Kitty. She gave the name Kitty to her dairy because she considers her dairy like her best friend at that period.
This book teaches us that no matter how many difficulties and hardship comes in life but always struggle to learn from them and grow up with a better personality. The last day when Anne wrote in her diary was 4 Aug 1944. She ended with this beautiful sentence,” I think of myself as I am happy from the inside and other people think I am happy from the outside .”
