Oral cancer or mouth cancer has become a serious problem in Pakistan. It can harm any part of our mouth. For instance cheeks, gums, the roof of the mouth, and salivary glands. It only attacks and harms those who indulge in taking drugs. For instance cigarettes, cigars, pipes and chewing tobacco, etc. These all are hazardous to health and cigarette is the most common among them. The cigarette is causing various kinds of diseases such as heart disease, stroke, and lung cancer. It made me astonished that at the time of purchase, it is written on the cigarette that it can cause mouth cancer, but still, people enjoy it by neglecting themselves and risking their lives. This fashion is turning into a lethal disease that is woeful. In addition, the main risk factors for most oral cancers are tobacco and alcohol consumption and these both are injurious to health. Many times people face difficulties in breathing due to taking drugs. Unfortunately, our young generation is involved in this disgusting activity. I sincerely advise all people that keep themselves away from these harmful addictions. I also plead to the government that they should ban these fatal drugs so that people can live prosperous life.
